Return & Refund Policy

I hope you are happy with your handmade ceramics. If, however, you change your mind about your purchase, the following return policy applies.

Returns

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact me at info@therainbowpotter.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

After notifying me that you wish to return your order, you must send the item(s) back within 14 days.

Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. Please pack ceramics very carefully for the return journey.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item(s). I strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as you remain responsible for the return shipment until it has been delivered to me.

Please contact me before sending a return so I can provide you with the correct return instructions and return address.

Refunds

Once your return has been received, I will inspect the item(s).

If the return meets the conditions above, I will refund the amount due using the same payment method you used for your original purchase, unless we agree otherwise.

For a valid withdrawal under EU consumer law, the refund includes the purchase price and, where applicable, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order.

Any additional shipping costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the standard option are not refundable.

A refund may be withheld until I have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever happens first.

You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the item beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.

Custom and personalised orders

Items that are made specifically to your request, specifications or personal preferences are not eligible for the 14 day right of withdrawal.

This includes custom and personalised commissions made especially for you.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as agreed.

Damaged or incorrect orders

Every piece is handmade and packed with great care. If your order arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact me as soon as possible at info@therainbowpotter.com.

Please include your order number and clear photographs of the item, the damage and, where relevant, the packaging so I can help resolve the issue.

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect, I will work with you to arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Handmade ceramics

All ceramics from The Rainbow Potter are handmade individually. Small differences in shape, size, glaze, colour and surface are part of the handmade nature of the work and make each piece unique.

Product photographs are made to represent the pieces as accurately as possible, but colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.

These natural handmade variations are not considered defects.
